Porto, Douro, Lisbon.. 8 days

4 active young adults would love suggestions for 8 full days in mid June 2022. Want to visit wineries, any ancient ruins, a beach. Fly into Porto and end with Lisbon for ? 3 days, mostly interested in outdoor sights, historic venues and seafood.. suggestions please! Thx

With 8 days / 9 nights, I would either just split my time between Porto and Lisbon (4n including Douro day trip / 5n), or remove 1n from Porto and include an overnight stay somewhere in the Douro valley (can't be more specific, this is not the part I know best).
Lisbon is within easy reach of beaches for a day trip - in Cascais, for instance.
Seafood is ubiquitous in Porto and Lisbon, do not worry about that.
As for ancient ruins: Portugal is not famous for those, I cannot think of any major sites.

For a great seafood restaurant in Lisbon, I can suggest Cervejaria Ramiro, recommended by Anthony Bourdain. This restaurant serves primarily all kinds of fish and shellfish. I think there is only one meat dish. The food is fresh, delicious, and reasonable. I also recommend eating at the Time Out Market in Lisbon.

Another place to visit either for a day from Lisbon or to stay overnight is Sintra, especially if you are interested in castles and fortresses.

Thank you both so much; I am realizing that seafood is going to be awesome. I am grateful to find out about places that will feel local and genuine. Keep the recommendations coming !!

Hi
Conimbriga is the most important ruins (roman) in Portugal, located south of Coimbra city.
Happy travels
