Our family of 5 adults will be in Porto for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Should we make dinner reservations now or take our chances once we arrive on Dec. 29. We are low key casual travelers, not looking for anything fancy and happy with casual tasty food. Would love any insights and suggestions. Thanks in advance!

If it were me, I would do some research and make reservations before I arrive. Both those days will be busy restaurant days. I usually look at google maps around the area where I’m staying for restaurants. I find their reviews more reliable than others, especially if you aren’t wanting a top restaurant.
