Has anyone stayed in Porto Covo on the western coast? We are starting in Porto and working our way south and eventually over to Spain. Any other recommendations for a few nights before we make our way over to Sevilla and then down to Gibraltar. And are there any must-sees in that region? We like history and exploring the culture and small towns have a certain appeal to us. I don't really care about spending alot of time in the Algarve region. From what I've read it's like Florida and we've been there, done that.
