Hello. We are booked via Delta to fly KLM to Amsterdam then on to Seattle on Delta. The KLM flight is scheduled to arrive at 8:40 in AMS and the Delta flight to SEA departs at 10:15. Even though this was the airline pairing available when we booked, I am second guessing that short connection time. Is this doable or do I need to try to correct it now? It is not necessary to connect in SEA to our final destination. Thanks for your help.

If you booked on one ticket, airline is responsible to rebook if you miss the connection. If you booked with multiple carriers, I would look into rebooking if you feel worried. I have a very short connection myself on a trip back from Porto (to Sacramento) upcoming but the airline will be on the hook if we don't make it. Still it will be a hassle, but looking at the connection (which has changed 3 times already since booking!) it would appear the flight usuallyl arrives into Charlotte early so I am crossing my fingers we make it- there are 5 adults on the same reservation. Again, you have to do what works for your peace of mind. Happy travels.

I don't think 1:35 is really a short connection time.
You won't need to deal with any of the inbound EES stuff that many have asked about,
but there is a passport check as you exit the Schengen zone. It can get backed up
at times, so it would be prudent not to wait to long to clear that.
Of course, you can contact the airline and see if you can change the connection, but
there is the chance of a fare increase.
It looks like there are 2 nonstops from AMS to SEA each day, so if in the worst case
you miss your flight, there is an afternoon flight.
If you mentioned your final destination, you might get some more suggestions.

Thank you Steph and Shoeflyer. We have refundable tickets and I already paid extra for seat upgrades on the KLM leg. I think I will wait in case there are schedule changes or a major delay, then see what I can do.
