Looking for a recommendation for hotel close to the airport in Porto for a one night stay. We will need to have a dinner there (no breakfast since we have a VERY early flight out in the AM). Either a hotel with an okay restaurant or easily walkable to one. Thank you.

Last week we stayed at the Solar Antigo. I selected it as it was closest and the reviews. It was a small hotel, very clean, good bed and shower. We had a 5 am flight and they shuttled us at 3 am even though it was only a 5 minute walk. They also provided a sack breakfast. Again not fancy and they do not have a restaurant but we ate in town.

I did find what I thought was a great option, OPO Hotel. Less than 5 min drive from the airport. Free pickup and shuttle back to the airport. We stayed overnight on our return from the Azores and flying back to the US in the early AM. I called when our flight arrived, the driver was there in less than 10 min. In the AM they shuttle every 30 min.
There is a good restaurant onsite where we had a good meal with several options including a few vegetarian and they have a bar where they also serve more casual food. I think there is also an indoor pool and some exercise area). The staff was friendly and responsive to questions. Our room charge was less than 100 Euros. Breakfast buffet was extra but we left too early to participate. Room was reasonable size and nice except for a rather firm mattress. decent amount of storage.
What’s not to like for an overnight? There is a metro close by if one wanted to go into the city.
