I like taking photographs. Any suggestions on a good location to take pictures of the castle? Would a view from the elevador de santa justa work. It also appears that the view from the Pantheon might be high enough.

The area at the top of the Santa Justa Elevador would give you nice views. There is an outdoor bar close to the top of the Elevador.. The miradouro Alcântara would also be good. And, I’m pretty certain the view is pretty great from the miradouro Graça.. The castle is viewable from many places throughout the city. You will no difficulty getting great photos!
