My husband and I are searching for a personal driver to transport us from Obidos to Porto. Does anyone know of a trustworthy and decently priced company to use? We're currently considering Daytrip (for $300). We are open to any and all suggestions! I've also been doing research on TripAdvisor, but it would be nice to hear from someone on this forum.
I understand public transportation is an option, but for convenience sake, we would like a driver this time around.

You may be interested in this idea : my wife and I (I’m 74) will be in Spain and Portugal this May. For most of the trip we will be using trains and busses, except for the segment between Coimbra and Lisbon. The bus service in middle Portugal seems uncertain, even during the week. So, we will use FLIX bus from Porto to Coimbra and for about $390 (with full insurance etc through AAA) we have reserved a Fiat 500 for four days so we can go to Nazare and Obidos where we have hotel reservations, and then turn the car in at the Lisbon airport on Friday. Since we now will be renting a car, we can add Coimbra, the Conimbriga ruins and Alcobaca to our trip. We haven’t done this yet, so there may be some SNAFU in the plan, but I think it will work out.
I am using Journeys with Peppe for a similar drive, in the reverse. Peppe is picking me up in Porto and we are making 3 stops to explore (including Obidos) before he drops me at my hotel in Cascais. He has been excellent to communicate with.
