Peneda-Geres National Park advice

Can anyone recommend easy to easy-moderate hikes in the southern and western portions of Peneda-Geres National Park, or memorable small towns or other scenic spots in the park? We'll be spending a couple of days there next month and hope to minimize driving while maximizing hiking and gazing at beautiful landscape.
Also wonder if anyone has found reliable sources of overall information on the park. Thanks - Alan from Virginia

We're going to be spending two nights at the Aguas do Geres hotel because my husband really wants a hot soak after hiking. It looks like there are quite a few hiking trails at Campo de Geres, which is a 2 hour hike north of Geres (aka Vila do Geres/Caldo do Geres) but a roundabout drive. They also have an information kiosk (aka Park Gate) at Campo, so we're hoping it is something like the US National Park ranger station/visitor center. We are planning to walk a portion of the Via Roman in Campo, and a couple of waterfall trails at Geres.

This is an older page (2018), but I like his style and he had well laid out info on the Via Roman
This lists a lot of things in Geres, but other pages highlight things more north such as Lindoso or Soajo.
I'm planning to download the AllTrails app, and even upgrade to a subscription. We've used All Trails, but only in California and only the free version, which is limited. It does list a lot of trails in NPG, though.

This is the park website, but it doesnt seem to highlight the popular tourist sites.

When are you going? We're heading out the end of September.

Thanks for your suggestions, Ualagirl.
We'll be there in mid-October, staying at the Pousada Canicada-Geres outside the park. It seems to be about a half-hour south of Campo do Geres.
We've also been looking at AllTrails' free version and have found some promising hikes.
The information I've seen on Peneda-Geres' visitor centers makes me think they are more commercially oriented than the ones the National Park Service runs. We're hoping they can provide advice on hiking trails.
Have a great trip.
