I'd like to hike the Paiva Walkways in September when traveling from Coimbra to Porto. If it is a linear trail, is there transportation available to take you back to the starting point or do you just need to hike back? Any advice would be welcome.

I couldn't figure this out on my own, so I signed up for a day trip from Porto ... letting someone else figure out the logistics! I'm doing this second week in June. I know this doesn't answer your question ... but I really could not figure this out on my own. I booked the tour through Get Your Guide ... a small group tour.

There are taxis available both sides of the path.
