I have just spent over an hour trying to get bus tickets on Rede Express from Porto to Fátima. Impossible! Asking for NIF number! Anyway my question is can I get tickets at the station same day?

I used FLIX in Portugal.. I found their app easy to use and the buses were nice.

Yes, you can always get a ticket at the bus/train station. If it’s holiday time sometimes buses do sell out. A little trick is to input your hotel address in Portugal if you have a problem online. I always have to do this with Thalys train tickets. Call your cc bank & make sure they know you’re making international purchases & stop their fraud alert.
