We are wanting a liveable neighborhood in Serúbal for several nights. We are looking for a neighborhood Close to transit that’s walkable with a market and a cafe/resturant or two.
If you were going to Live in Setúbal , not see sights what neighborhood would you advise.
Any othersuggestions of towns/small cities for living. Walkable, good local transit . Nature accessible. Nature over historical/cultural sites.

I’m not certain why you are focused on Setubal. I spent a few nights there last year and was not very impressed. While there is a train to Lisbon, my memory is that it takes quite awhile. I’m certain there are buses, but as I had a car while there, I didn’t research them.
But, it has become somewhat popular with American expats. You might want to check out the Facebook page Americans and Friends in Portugal. There is an extensive files section that might contain some of the info you are seeking. If not, you could ask a question for those living there.
