Need help deciding on Lisbon hotel

Hi all,
We are first time visitors to Lisbon and will be there for 3 nights. Looking some something with great location, but not with noisy rooms and prefer an authentic experience but one at nicer hotels.

I've narrowed it down to:

Memmo Alfama - Design Hotels
AlmaLusa Alfama
Bairro Alto Hotel
Hotel da Baixa

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

I was in Lisbon for the first time last October and really loved it. I was there four nights and it was not enough.

I was there late October and it was still very crowded with visitors but manageable. it rained every day but there were letups.

If possible, try to visit Sintra and Belem.

I did not stay at any of the hotels that you mentioned but I did stay in the Baixa neighborhood. it is flat and I have mobility issues. You are probably aware that Lisbon is very hilly.

For whatever it is worth, here is the hotel that I stayed at: Be Poet Baixa Hotel.

Booking.com is a good site to do research on. Perhaps you have already used it but you can check out the reviews on the four hotels that you have mentioned.

I have read that Chiado next to Baixa is a good place that is not too noisy, and then up the hill above it. There are many Youtube videos by Americans, Canadians and Brits living in Portugal or who have travelled a lot there. I have been shocked by the hotel prices - it's not a cheap place to stay at all.

We stayed at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza while on our Rick Steves tour. Centrally located, pleasant rooms
