Ok, maybe most of the RS Forum members may not venture to Nazare but I’m here and would like to get some recommendations for favorite spots for a meal. I like it all - even tried the grilled sardines. They were fabulous, by the way. Thanks for your thoughts

We had a nice meal at Restaurante Little India in 2023.
The problem with restaurants is when cooks change, so does the food. I’ve had great meals at some restaurants, but were only mediocre upon return a year later. Take any restaurant recommendation with a grain of salt.

Thank you Jaime. I find that to be true also. Tonight I dined at a typical Portuguese restaurant that had very good reviews and there was a line out the door at lunchtime. The service was a bit slow, the octopus though tender and fresh, lacked flavor. The shrimp were over done and I was charged €12.50 for gamarao fritto (fried shrimp) but what I ordered and ate was shrimp in a garlic sauce-on the menu for €7.00. The Waiter insisted the shrimp item listed on my bill was what I ordered and ate. I will give a not so great review because I can’t tolerate being taken as a dumb patron.
