Hello. We found a really nice airbnb in the Mouraria district. Has anyone stayed there, and any opinions on staying in that district? Thanks!

We stay at the same AirBnB in Mouraria every time we go! It's the most wonderful neighborhood: full of locals and close to everything, yet not too noisy. We are close to the Martim Moniz metro station, above a wonderful bakery, and a quarter mile from a Pingo Doce. It's about a half mile to the waterfront for our morning jogs. You'll love it.

Looks like it's close to 2 Metro stops, which is good. In my opinion, as long as you are close to a Metro (subway) stop, getting around Lisbon will be easy. They have a great Metro system.
Pick up a Viva Viagem Card (zapping), pre-loading it with a set dollar amount. That way if you get tired of walking hills, you can just hop on a bus/tram or the metro and get where ever you need to go.
