Lines even with a ticket with a half hour time slot and getting there early, before 9 am, still took two hours to get in.
Staff are rude. No worth the time.

Oh boy, we’ll be there in early October. Maybe we’ll plan on going later in the day.
A few years ago we just walked in. It was a highlight of our time in the Lisbon area.
We were there 4/26/24. We bought tickets on site(to the right of the church while facing it) Seniors get half off. They are all time slotted. The line for the monastery was very long and we waited over one hour. The cloister has very little information to read inside. Once you leave the cloister you must then get in line again to see the church(on right as you face church). This was a surprise to us. Our opinion is that it was not worth it. We had been on a tour to Tomar the day before and the Moorish architecture appeared similar. We spoke to another couple who highly recommended the maritime museum on the same grounds. We did not go, but feel the time may have been better spent there.
