I certainly haven't explored the entire coast, but u spent a few days in Ericeira in Aug 2019 and I loved it! Pretty town, easy to get to, beautiful coastal scenery and beaches, excellent food, and close to non-beach attractions (Mafra, Sintra).
FYI, the southwest (Algarve) is also Atlantic!

I like Bordeira north of Vila do Bispo, Zambujeira do Mar, Comporta and north of Lisbon, Caldas da Rainha, a couple of miles inland.
