Visiting Funchal and island for 1 day in Oct. 2024. What are mian sights to see? Also experience with Tukxxi tours?
Would a 6 hour tour allow us to see most of the special sights easily if only 2 of us?

Take the cable car to the top,, then another cable car down to the botanical garden, then back up (have lunch) then take the sleigh down. If - like me - you don't like the idea of going fast down without protection, take the bus. DON'T walk down! I did and it was three days before my legs (calves) felt normal again.
Visit Cabo Girão Viewpoint . You can go there by HOHO bus or city bus - or walk. We went there by bus and walked back along the beach.
And if you want to relax - and have the time - visit Porto Santo. You can go by ship from (or to) Madeira.
