If I wanted to stop for a few hours in Coimbra on my way from Oporto to Lisbon, would there be a place to store luggage?

It looks like the train stations(Coimbra has 2) don't have left luggage facilities.

Since the train stations don’t offer a left luggage facility, I emailed the hotel where we’ll be staying (near the station) and asked your question.
I’ll let you know when they report back.

We were able to leave our luggage at the tourist info in Coimbra. On google maps it shows up as the Poste de Turismo.

The hotel staff replied and gave me the name of a left luggage/ gift shop located near the train station. However, the hotel staff has not used this place.
I think your best bet is to leave your luggage at the tourist information office.
