Does anyone have a recommendation of lodging near the Lisbon airport or with an easy connection to the airport? Thanks.

The airport is really quite close to Lisbon. We made a 7:15 am flight with no problems staying in the Baixa area of town. There are taxi companies you can book ahead that work quite well.
When I arrived here in October, my scheduled taxi with Lisbon Taxis cost me 19 euros so the cost is quite reasonable compared to some other European airport transfers.

Will you have a car? We actually stayed in Obidos our last night and drove in that morning. Was very easy.
