Lisbon Train Transfers: How to, from Santa Apolonia to Rossio Stations

We will arrive back in Lisbon from Coimbra at Santa Apolonia Station, and must get to Rossio Station for a trip to Sintra for my son's wedding. I checked RS Portugal book and could not find the answer. What's the best way to get from Santa Apolina to Rossio ? And, please give specifics, because I'm no "rocket scientist" on Portugese travel (e.g. where to get tickets, etc.). Is a train connection or a taxi better. We are not on a strict schedule.

Thanks.

Your first train stops first at Lisboa Oriente station, where you can change trains to Sintra, as recommended on the DB train schedule site for Europe, like so:

Coimbra-B dep 09:21 IC 510, Intercity Direction: Lisboa Santa Apolonia, Subject to compulsory reservation

Lisboa Oriente arr 11:22

Transfer time 16 min.

Lisboa Oriente dep 11:38 R 18250, Regionalzug Direction: Sintra

Sintra arr 12:25

Duration: 3:04; runs daily
