Lisbon to Pena

We will be in Lisbon for a meeting this May and have limited to time to see sights. Is it feasible/reasonable to uber/take a cab to Pena and come back. Is it worth it if we just see the outside of the castle? Thanks.

There is a direct train to Sinatra from the Rossio station in Lisbon. It does make a few stops enroute, maybe a forty minute ride. From there, a short bus trip to Pena Palace. Depending on the time of day, this plan might be quicker than Uber or taxi.

I personally haven't taken a uber to Pena, but I think it's reasonable. There is a direct train, but from the train station, one needs to take further transportation (bus, tuk tuk, etc) to the palace. In the past, the Park of Pena ticket allowed one to go up on the terraces, but that is no longer the case. Normally I would say, yes, it's worth it to see the outside, but then that outside had included those terraces. I'm not so sure now.

Also, you can take a look at the other palaces/sites in Sintra. Pena is colorful, but there are other places you can visit that will not be as crowded and just as nice, or nicer in my opinion :)
