We are traveling in Portugal in June. My plan was to stop in Sintra when we left Lisbon before driving to Lagos. I have found out that it is very difficult to park the car in Sintra and it may get broken into. Although very disappointed, I have abandoned my plan and need an alternative for a couple hour stop somewhere. Any suggestions? We are traveling with our 2 adult children and we will be spending a good amount of time in the Algarve so a costal town is not necessary.

Drive over the Vasco de Gama Bridge. Evora is a nice stop.

Thanks. I was looking at evora. I wasn’t sure if it was interesting enough to warrant going that far out of our way. I’ll check out the bridge
