Bought four tickets via rail Europe. But no date or time is specified. 1st class. I thought it was time and date specific! Says seat reservations purchased at train station for additional cost. I have read this books early. Help?!! No date or time?

I thought one can only buy tickets directly from Portuguese rail. Discounts available up to 5 days prior. .. www.cp.pt

The "Fare Details" link in Rail Europe's shopping cart specifies that they are selling an open ticket, reservation not included. It is an Intercidades service, but they may have classed it as "regional" in their database because they can't reserve it. Seat reservations should be under 5 euros in a Portuguese train station. I don't know whether it books up early but cp.pt is still selling tickets for tomorrow, for instance.
