Lisbon rush hours

Hi,
Trying to book a flight from Lisbon to Ponta Delgada, Azores. There are three options that work for my schedule:
1. Tuesday depart Lisbon 5 pm, arrive in PDL 6:30 pm
2. Tuesday 10:15 pm departure/11:45 pm arrival
3. Wednesday 7:05 am departure/8:40 AM arrival

May I ask some local insights? When is rush hour in Lisbon? How bad does it get? I like option 2 as it allows me a full day in Lisbon and I do not have to wake up super early in the morning to go to the airport. Would it be dangerous to take Bolt to Lisbon airport for a female solo traveler at night? How early shall I go to the airport for a domestic flight?

Not sure if I can answer, but the airport in Lisbon is almost right in town, on a good day, maybe ten minutes from central Lisbon. Though when we arrived mid-afternoon last April, it took 45 minutes or so to get to our hotel.

Of course the other wild card is time to get through security and to your gate, Lisbon has had some issues, so best to allow plenty of time.

I see no issue with a Bolt in the evening, you probably would need a ride no later than 7:30, early by Portuguese standards.

The only one that wouldn’t work regarding rush hour is the 5:00 pm one.

I usually take early flights because it gives me most of the day in my destination. But, if you’re not in Lisbon very long, I can see your point about wanting more time there.

There is zero concern about safety taking a Bolt or Uber at night. Try to disregard all the safety concerns you have in the U.S. Portugal remains in the top ten countries for safety - other than pickpockets!
