Lisbon/Porto and everything in between

We have accommodations in Lisbon from 6/27/25-7/4/25. We are not planning on spending the entire week there but will also be traveling (by car) to Porto.
My questions-
How many days to enjoy Lisbon (rent car when leaving Lisbon)
How many days to enjoy Porto(drop off car when arriving in Porto).
What are the must sees along the way that we should plan into our 3 hour drive?

We enjoyed Tomar, Coimbra and Conimbriga. Spent 2 days in Porto and 3 in Lisbon.

We spent 5 full days in Lisbon including a daytrip to Sintra, and 3 full days in Porto. That was a good amount for us. The highlight for us during the drive between the two was Obidos.
