I am travelling to Portugal in feb end for 4 days.
Request you to please suggest a possible itinerary for lisbon and porto for 2 days each.
Also which train stations to choose(at both cities) while travelling from lisbon to porto via train.
We are headed to Portugal in June and will be visiting both Lisbon and Porto. We purchased a RS Portugal Guide Book (available elsewhere on this web site) and have found it to be most helpful in our planning.
You can catch the same trains at either Lisboa Oriente or Santa Apolonia station and they end at Porto Campanha. From there, you need a connecting train (or taxi or subway) to reach Porto Sao Bento station.

I'd like to address your possible itinerary.
I've been to Lisbon on three occasions, 1, 3 and 5 full days of sight seeing.
I have two books to recommend: RS's Portugal and the current Lisbon TimeOut book.
My trips, all three being different:
1) with husband and a 15 year old
2) colleged age daughter
and 3) with my sister.
Trip 1) was sights
2) and 3) had wine and port tastings and different neighborhoods.
2) and 3) also went to Porto via train. Bought tickets at the stations and had no problems.
