Returning from Florence to US, I have a 14hour layover in March. I’m arriving at 9pm (Monday) and departure at noon (Tuesday). I hate wasting all that time in a new city sleeping or in an airport lounge.
Any late night or early morning excursion ideas for a solo female?

Given the later hour of your arrival and that you may have to check in 3 hours ahead of time, I'd be tempted to stay in the nice |Mella hotel with pool at the airport.
Failing that, contact a company ilke Get Your Guide and see if they have any appropriately times tours with airport pickup.
