Lisbon/Porto - Apartment Rentals / Vegetarian Eats ??

Happy 2024! We are traveling to Lisbon & Porto in April - wonder how the vegetarian food options are in these cities? Not really looking for a full on vegetarian or vegan restaurant, but just places that have vegetarian options.

We have an Airbnb, says its near: Largo de Santo Antoninho in the description for Lisbon. (I likely spelled that incorrectly)

And for Porto the description states its in the Alliados area.

pen to suggestions of other places to stay that the forum users have rented. Want to stick with an apartment that has washer (possible dryer) - as we are packing light.

Are you familiar with the Happy Cow website? It gives options for vegan and vegetarian meals in many European locations. I just checked and they have a map with several options pinpointed for Lisbon.

Most restaurants will have at least a couple of vegetarian options. Some of the tiny mom and pop typical Portuguese restaurants might not, but most will.

It will be easy to find an apartment rental with a washer but a tumble dryer (as they are called in Portugal) will be quite difficult to find. The dryers here take an extremely long time to fully dry clothes and most owners won’t want to pay for all that electricity. They will all have dryer racks which work quite well. Just plan on a couple of days and spread things out to dry.

I'm a vegetarian and didn't have any problems finding options in Lisbon or Porto when I visited in 2022. In fact, there was a vegetarian (actually, probably vegan) restaurant I went to a couple of times in the center of Porto. Alas, I can't find it at this moment, but the Happy Cow website could be helpful.
