Hi: I'm going to be studying in Lisbon by myself from June 20-July 4, and am looking for an Airbnb in proximity to the Baixia-Chaido metro station. I'll be on my own and want to be able to use my free time well and move around freely, especially at night. Where do you recommend I look for an apartment?

Either Baixa or Chiado would be good - with a slight preference to Chiado. The views are great from lots of vantage points and there are many more good restaurants, bars, etc. Bairro Alto would be another possibility with lots of nightlife. And, the Cais do Sodre is very ‘in’ right now, with the famous ‘Pink Street’ and lots of new restaurants.
WOW!!! Great recommendations. One further question, what do you recommend a fair per night price for an Airbnb apartment for myself. Also, should I worry about what floor I rent on?
