We will be visiting Lisbon at the end of March, it is our grandsons spring break and he will be joining us for the trip, as well as our son. We are looking for an apartment in the Bairro Alto area with two bedrooms and two baths. Unfortunately, we now know it is during Holy Week that we will be there, which boosts the price of an apartment up by about 50% for that week. We stayed at an apartment there in 2013, but we need a larger one this time. We have looked at VRBO and found a few, they really don't make it easy to sort through what they have. It seems like every time we look they add more places and delete others. Does anyone know of a different search engine to find an apartment in Lisbon. We plan to be there at least two weeks. We are looking for something under $200.00 a day if possible.

Try booking.com and Trip Advisor rentals. I wouldn't recommend Airbnb in Europe as their currency conversion rates are a rip off.

We have used AirBnB in Seville before and had a great experience. I plan to use AirBnB again in March/April next year for Madrid and Lisbon and have had no problems finding choices for what I thought were good prices. I definitely do like to use booking.com for hotels though.

Try the more selective agency www.cross-pollinate.com. I see a few apartments in Holy Week under 150 euros/night for 4 people, but only one of them has two baths.
