My husband and I have a 6:55AM flight from Lisbon and would like a nice but not 4 star hotel near the airport. After 2 weeks in Portugal and on to Morocco for another 2 weeks I am looking for a quiet air-conditioned hotel with a good shower and comfortable bed. A hotel shuttle to the airport would be a nice plus. At the present time I have reservations at Residential Terminus but some reviews have stated it is very noisy due to location at end of the runway. Any insights greatly appreciated. If I decide to stay in the city center near attractions I will need a location close to the Metro or have to take a taxi to the airport. How safe is it at 4:00AM?

We stayed in a four star, very nice economical hotel across the street from the Lisbon airport.
It was the TRYP Lisbon Aeroporto Hotel, a Wyndham hotel. The hotel was nice and cost about 90 Euros.

We also stayed at the TRYP. This spring. Twice. Before our morning flight to Madeira, and then before our mourning (we were sad to leave) flight home. You can walk from the TRYP to the airport and catch the airport's shuttle. Or depending on timing of everything, the TRYP has its own shuttle, but I think it starts at 6AM.
Unique set up inside each room at the TRYP with the tub in the middle of the room. It was clean, quiet, and safe.
