Hello, I've read the posts and since everything will be closed for Christmas, my daughter and I are looking for a beautiful hotel to spend Christmas and have a nice holiday meal. I'd love a pool/jacuzzi - gives us another space and thing to do. I'm willing to spend more for these two days, 24th and 25th. We are on public transportation and enjoy walking around as well. I really appreciate any help!

The hotels will not be closed on Christmas! In fact, their restaurants are some of the few places one can eat on Christmas Day. Choose a hotel you like with the amenities you like.

I’m looking for recommendations of the best resort type hotel to spend two days, given that it is a holiday and we will be there a lot.

Heritage Avenida Liberdade looks nice. It has a pool. I’m staying there in a couple of weeks, myself.
