Just a courtesy notice that would have saved us some time yesterday when we were there:
Contrary to what is stated in the 2019 Rick Steves Guide, the Lisboa card DOES skip the line for the Cloister at the Monastery of Jerominos....or at least it did for us yesterday!
The guide says to get in the ticket line to the far left over by the Museum of Archeology, and get an actual ticket. Good news, you don't need to - because this line moves with the speed of a snail! Instead go straight to the Cloister, bypass the line of people waiting to get in, and ask where to go as a Lisboa card holder. We were directed past the line and to just swipe our card in a machine. No wait at all!
We did have to wait at the church afterwards.
Same goes for using your card at the Museum of Archeology - bypass the line and swipe. Although the museum was pretty skippable.
