We just returned from Portugal and discovered a somewhat hidden archeology gem right in the Baixa! It is an underground tour of Lisbon's past featuring artifacts from the Iron Age and the Romans through the Pombaline era. It was a concise one hour tour under a modern day bank. Our tour was in English and our guide used computer projections to highlight artifacts in the various areas which was helpful and unique. The group was also small and best of all it was free! You just need to send a tour request ahead of time via the request from on their website. They are trying to get the word out to more travelers that they exist. If you an interested in archeology, it is definitey worth a visit!
