Is the following schedule realistic?
land in Lisbon at 9:45; get through Customs, store luggage:
take Aerobus to Praca do Comercio:
take Trolley 15E to Belem; tour Monastery;
be back to airport by 17:00 for 18:20 flight (domestic)
Portela is a real easy airport, you'll be done thirty minutes after the plane door opens. I don't know about stashing luggage.
It's a twenty-minute drive down to Jeronimos. I don't use public transportation much, but with ridiculous connections it can't possibly be an hour.
I'd figure on being back an hour an a half before the departure time, just because you've never done it.
What's that, six and a half hours free? You've got time left over for lunch and a nap.
Flights are with TAP; outbound states 45 min. to be at airport; inbound states 1:00. I'm just doing a RT to Terceira in Azores.
Thanks, Ed. I was hoping to get lunch in Belem. I'll nap on the plane, hopefully:)
That sounds doable. In the plan gets interrupted, taxis are also affordable, e.g. 10 euros from airport to city center.
