We are booked on TAP Portugal to Marseille. The itinerary only allows for a 1 hour connection in Lisbon. Our arriving flight and departing flight both use Terminal 1. This seems like a tight connection, but since we booked with the airline it must be “ok”. Any thoughts?
They are instituting some new processes for passport control at the Lisbon airport. That should help the backup that has occurred in the past. But, of course, there is no guarantee. I agree it’s a tight connection.

According to this you have passport control and a security screening, between flights
Any thoughts?
My thought would be to use the lavatory on your first flight just before landing. It looks unlikely you will have time to do so in the airport
Might be 'legal' but not comfortable. If the connection is missed they would put you on another plane at no monetary cost but when? I'd look at changing flights for a more relaxing transfer if I could.
