I spent 8 nights in Lisbon earlier this year. My trip report might provide some ideas.

Six adults stayed in this very nice 3 bedroom 3 bathroom (!) apartment in September 2023.

This is a very spacious apartment with great kitchen and living area. The rooms are similar and there are enough bathrooms for everybody. Location was okay. Lots of walking, but area is flat compared to most of Lisbon. I suggest that you sign up for Bolt which is very cheap in Portugal.
O Brasao is an inexpensive cafe with good coffee and pastries about a block away. Nice owner, but he may over charge you accidentally or on purpose until he knows you.
I've spent a week here.

Great location by the Metro and Rossio train station on a side street. The front desk is helpful and there are some common spaces where if you want to hang out with others you can. Nothing fancy, but good value.
Carrie, thank you. Very helpful
funpig and Lynn, Lisbon accommodations are sort of pricy, arent they? I am surprised.
I would have been surprised at the pricing 5 years ago, but not any longer. Portugal has become a very popular country to travel to and Lisbon is their capital city.
