Anyone have updated info on needing a covid test 24 or 72 hours before arrival? I guess the locator info is not longer required? Thanks, Peggy
Test still required as of right now: https://www.visitportugal.com/en/content/covid-19-measures-implemented-portugal.
No test required to enter France. Your airline should indicate this. Vaxx and boosted is required. No vaccination pass is required now. You might be able to upload info on your airline. Test is required to reenter USA. Have fun.
edited. I miss read. I thought you posted Paris, not Portugal. Have no idea about Portugal but your airline should know.
Yes, negative test still required. Im thinking that, because they operate on a reciprocal basis with other country's policies, and the US policy is negative test to enter, they will continue with that until the US changes. (But hopefully they'll cancel sooner)
Unfortunately the U.S. Embassy in Portugal has muddied the water with this change to their guidance:
Testing / Vaccination requirements for entry: All passengers 12 years old older must present EITHER
EU Digital Vaccination Certificate OR
No specific guidance exists indicating if US CDC vaccine card are accepted for proof of vaccination. As such U.S. Embassy Lisbon strongly recommends all U.S. citizens travelling from the United States to Portugal follow option 2, present a negative COVID 19 test before boarding (see below)
Negative COVD Test
PCR / NAAT test 72 hours before boarding or
Rapid Antigen / TRAg test 24 hours before boarding.
Thanks so much for all the replies. Peggy
