Looking for recommendations for accommodations in January for 2 weeks in Lagos and 2 weeks in Tavira. Suggestions for other options are greatly appreciated also. Thanks!

For a hotel in Tavira I know the one I used to use in summers does open all year, the Vila Galé Tavira https://www.vilagale.com/en/hotels-portugal/hotels-algarve/vila-gale-tavira/ it's handy for everything in the old town but I can't vouch for what will actually be open there. I'm not even sure that the ferry to the beach island operates in January.
Not to be confused with the Vila Galé Albacora across the river which is is NOT handy for the town.
