Is the Bucaco Forest outside Lusa and near Coimbra open on Sundays? Also, do buses and trains go there on Sundays from Coimbra?

Bussaco National Forest is open every day 9:00-19:00. There are buses from Coimbra or you can take the train to Luso and take a taxi the last 3 km for a couple bucks. Luso and the natural mineral springs are very interesting including the art deco Grand Hotel Luso. Bring water bottles and fill them up at the public springs. The Bussaco Palace Hotel is nice place for a splurge lunch but the rooms are worn and tired.

Another transport option is a taxi or Uber from Coimbra to Bussaco. It should cost about 30 euro.
