Intinerary suggestions for first timers to Portugal 9 Days / 8 nights

My wife and I will be visiting Portugal arriving Sept. 20 and departing to Sevilla Sept 28th. Here are the detail I have right now. I believe it is a lot to see in a relatively short period of time but we want plan to come back down the road so not what if anything to eliminate. The plan so far:

Arrive Lisbon 21-Sep and stay for 4 nights including a day trip to Sintra and Evora.
Early train to Coimbra staying rest of day, 1 night and part of following day on way to Porto.
3 nights in Porto including a day trip to Duero Valley (suggestions for possibly using a tour company?)
On day 9, catch train from Porto to Lisbon (to fly to Sevilla) or is there a better option to fly to Sevilla from Porto?

Does this seem reasonable at all?

It's not a bad plan with the limited time you have, IMO. But, I don't think you will have time for day trips to both Sintra and Evora. Lisbon can easily fill four days by itself.. At this moment, I would vote for Sintra if you have to choose. But, as I've not been to Evora, my opinion might not be worth much. I will visit Evora at the end of May so could give a better opinion after that.
A day trip to the Douro is a great idea. We used CoolTour Oporto and thought it was a good tour at a very good price.
Porto does have a nice small airport and I know you can fly to Madrid from there. I'm sure you can also fly to Seville from there, but it might include a change of planes in Madrid. I would likely opt for flying out of Porto rather than going back to Lisbon is the fares and connections are reasonable.

Thank you for the reply and info Kathryn. We will drop the Evora day trip and use that time for trolley to Belem as suggested RS Portugal. I've noted your suggestion for tour of Duero, so thank you for that input as well.

I don't find any direct flights from Porto to Sevilla. If you do a connecting flight with TAP (operated by White Airlines), then the layover time at Lisbon airport varies from one to five hours.
