In Lisbon, what to do tomorrow?

We added an extra day before we fly home. Now I need plans for tomorrow. Today we are going to Sintra. We did Belem yesterday. We've done Rick's walking tours of Lisbon. We previously spent three days in Porto. So where should we head tomorrow?

Just enjoy the art of doing...nothing. Get a mid morning coffee and snack at an old coffee house, find a very small, very local place for lunch, well off the tourist path, order something you have no idea what it is. Continue wandering the old neighborhoods, maybe up to some overlooks, then have dinner someplace with a panoramic view. (I guess pack bags someplace in there as well, I suppose)

We arrive in Lisbon April 11th, been there before, but we are there for just two nights, just to adjust and settle into travel mode. For that time, other than eat and walk, maybe check out a brewery or two, we have nothing planned. A perfect start, and our endings of a trip are similar.

Paul, my husband (also Paul) does not have the ability to do nothing. He's exhausting. 🤣

There is always Evora, as a day trip, if you like to keep busy. If you like street art, there's lots in Lisbon, you can google it and spend the day finding the different famous ones (a way to see different parts of Lisbon too). Can get up early to ride Tram 28 from end to end. Prazeres cemetery is at one end with great views back to Lisbon and interesting tombs with great statues, a hidden gem. The aquarium is known to be nice, however I personally have not been there yet. If you didn't get a chance while in Belem, the coach museum is really nice.

I was leaning towards Evora but my husband wants to go to Cascais. Thank you everyone for the ideas!

Well, you could maybe go to the coach museum in Belem before heading to Cascais. I loved this little museum on my first trip to Portugal. Cascais is a very nice little city with a beautiful central courtyard and gardens leading to the beach. A Forum acquaintance (she lives in Cascais) and I met for lunch in a sweet location in Cascais. Restaurant Maritimo, not far from the town center, served wonderfully delicious seafood dishes.

Enjoy the rest of your trip.
