How should we allocate our 8 days in Portugal?

Just booked our first ever trip to Portugal for November. We're flying into Lisbon and then out of Porto. Excluding the arrival/departure days, we have 8 full days. We're torn on how to divide our time and have a few options:

A:
4 days in Lisbon
4 days in Porto

B:
5 days in Lisbon
3 days in Porto

C:
4 days in Lisbon
1 day in Cuimbre
3 days in Lisbon

Any suggestions? Within our time in Lisbon, we're definitely planning to dedicate an entire day to Sintra.

I think it comes down to what interests you and day trips you may take. Depending, I'd say A or B.

Possible day trips
Lisbon - Sintra/Cascais/Evora
Porto - Braga/Guimarães/Douro Valley.

I did C basically (assuming C means 4 days in Lisbon, 1 in Coimbra, 3 in Porto). I actually did two nights in Coimbra and day tripped (by bus) to Nazare, which I really loved. I also stopped in Tomar for a few hours as a detour between Lisbon and Coimbra.

Porto was nice but much smaller than Lisbon. I had allocated one day in Porto for a day trip out to the Douro valley, but it rained all day so I didn't bother. Without the Douro Valley trip, two nights would have been plenty for me in Porto, personally.
