I am staying in Bairro Alto in late May Sunday through Wednesday night. We took RS suggestion in his Guide Book and booked a 2 BR apt. Via Cross Pollinate website in Bairro Alto. My wife is an extremely light sleeper and I know the area is very lively in the evenings with bar hoppers and Fado performances. Can anyone advise whether this is also the case during week nights?
