How far in advance to book Lisbon tour(s)?

Hi all,
I’ll be flying to Lisbon after completing the Best of Spain tour in Sevilla at the end of October. I have just two complete days in Lisbon, starting on a Sunday. How far in advance should I book walking tours, and possibly a Sintra tour? Has anyone done both with the same company for a price break? I’d appreciate advice, and recommended providers among those mentioned in the RS book.
Thanks much!

You son’t need a rour for Sintra, take the train from Praça Rossio, visit National Palace and then go up to Pena Palace by bus, much newer edifice. Whimsical.

In mid-June, I did the "best of Lisbon" walking tour with the Inside Lisbon tour company. I highly recommend it. I booked it just the day before with no problem. I used the RS guidbook for self-guided day in Sintra, taking the train from Rossio Station as someone else mentioned.

Thank you both! I do rely on the RS books, but appreciate hearing from others with personal experience, especially as I’ll be doing Lisbon as a solo.

Several years ago we arrived in Lisbon 2 days before the RS Portugal Tour. We enjoyed a small group tour to Sintra and Cascais. There were 8 of us. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and professional. The van was very comfortable. The scenery was lovely. www.lisbonriders.com
