How do you book tickets for Belem tower?

Hello travelers,

I am staying in Lisbon briefly and planning on a day trip to Sinatra with my family in April.

I had a difficulty finding websites for admission tickets for Belem Tower. I only see the government website but it’s all in Portuguese… Can you tell me how you booked yours? Did you book the tickets along with other landmarks like Jerominos Monastery?

Thanks in advance!

You can translate the website yourself, or at least I can right click, select "translate to English" and it sort of works. The website is a general site for several attraction by the Patrimonio Cultural.

Digging around, there is a tab for an online ticket office, but it appears to be under construction, or at least not active.

Your best option is to purchase a combo ticket that includes the Archeological Museum, Monastery, and Tower. The Rick Steves guide suggests buying the ticket at the Archeological Museum where the lines are shorter, and avoid the ticket line at the Monastery.

With that, simply buy when you arrive to see the sights, there are no timed entries, buying at one sight may let you skip the ticket line at the others, but cannot guarantee that.

I've been to all the monuments in Belém ( interior and exterior) in my opinion the Torre de Belém and Padrão dos Descobrimentos exteriors are worth seeing but their interiors are not.

Instead I suggest that after you see the exteriors of those monuments use the extra time to visit Mosteiro dos Jerónimos ( exterior and interior including the Cloister) and visit Museu dos Coches that houses the Royal Carriages.
Museu dos Coches is situated opposite the Belém train station.
