Does anyone have great recommendations/experiences with the Rick Steves’s hotels in Porto and Lisbon? We’re traveling to both cities in April. If you have any positive and pleasant experiences with accommodations, please share.

That will be our preference, since Mr.Steves usually has reasonable priced hotels in decent and convenient locations.

When we took the RS Portugal tour a few years ago we stayed at Hotel Lisboa Plaza Liberdade. It was a good location and nicely appointed hotel. We also stayed at Lisboa plaza and enjoyed it. Easy walk to the metro stop. Restaurant A Gina just behind it.
