We're flying in from Madeira and staying for one night in Lisbon before leaving for home (spending 4 days there earlier in the trip). We'll have enough time to take the Metro red line into Lisbon for some more sight-seeing. Any recommendations for decent hotels (not luxury) located near the Red line? TIA, Terry.

We stayed at the Ibis Hotel Parque das Nações, the Oriente Station including the Metro Red line is nearby.
Ibis Hotels are a chain, we found it clean, comfortable bed, nice staff.

Hi Terry,
We found a few that are on the red line actually just a minute or few minutes walk from the Alameda station. Starting with the closest one. Put them onto google maps and you can see where they are with the Empire Lisbon Hotel being practically on top of the metro station... Oh, by the way all were found on Booking.com
