Is it standard process for this hotel to ask for credit card information to be sent via email? Tried to send a bank transfer and the money was returned.
Should I look for another hotel in Nazare?

I am staying at the Hotel Mar Bravo in a few weeks, and I did have to send my credit card info via email. I don't know if it is typical, but I took the chance since I wanted to stay there.

I can understand not wanting to send that information in an email. We stayed at Hotel Magic when we stayed in Nazaré last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. If driving, it has its own free parking garage. The hotel is a block from the beach and funicular to the upper town.
