On our way home we have an 11:45 AM flight. We will have been in Portugal for almost a month, so I'm happy to stay at a convenient place near the airport and have a relaxing morning. What are the best hotels near the Lisbon airport?

The Lisbon airport is near the city center so no need to stay at the airport.
It’s about a 20 minute taxi ride.
We stayed at a hotel near Praça do Comércio.

LOL. Okay, that's crazy close for a major city isn't it! Last time I left Lisbon (1992) was by foot then ferry then train and it was fraught with drama. I was with my boyfriend and we were not having fun. But I married him anyway and after 30 years of marriage we are giving Portugal another chance. Who knew the airport was 20 min away? I might have flown off and never seen him again.
